Workshop on Second Language Research
第二语言习得研究作为一门新兴的独立的学科, 始于20世纪60年代末70年代初,在全球范围内蓬勃发展，其研究的广度与深度不断加强, 多学科交叉的前景日趋显著，随着现代语言学以及许多其他相关学科的发展, 二语习得研究已经取得了令人瞩目的成就。国内在这个领域的研究也已经历了近30年的发展历程，中国学者在二语习得理论与实践的研究和探索中付出了不懈努力，取得了很多成果。
为帮助国内高校英语教师系统地了解二语习得的理论，进一步提高二语习得研究和实践能力，把握该领域的最新发展动向，北京外国语大学中国外语教育研究中心、外语教学与研究出版社与英语学院专程聘请国际二语习得研究领域著名专家美国马里兰大学Michael Long教授，与北京外国语大学文秋芳教授、金利民教授和陈亚平教授于2011年3月25-26日举办为期两天的专题研修班。
一、研修内容
二语习得研究学界泰斗Michael Long教授首次来到中国，为国内教师系统梳理讲解二语习得研究专题。本次研修主要内容包括国内、外二语研究发展最新动态及发展前景、二语教学及二语习得关键期假设。主要板块包括：
1. 当前第二语言习得研究趋势及未来发展方向综述
2. 中国第二语言习得研究发展趋势综述
3. 第二语言习得中的年龄差异和关键期假设
4. 第二语言习得教学
特色板块：本期研修班还将设“研究交流与点评（Research in Progress）”。欢迎参班教师携自己正在进行中的二语习得研究领域的课题参加，向同行展示自己的研究方案，与同行和专家交流、切磋。有意参加此环节的学员请在报到时提交研究展示PPT（时间：5分钟）电子版及纸质版2份。
每个板块将以大班讲授、问答与交流和小组研讨相结合的方式进行。研修班语言以英语为主，小组研讨可用汉语。

二、主讲专家
Michael H.Long
美国马里兰大学教授，语言、文学与文化学院院长。主要研究领域为二语习得理论与研究方法、语言教学方法等。出版Handbook of language teaching, Second language needs analysis, Problems in SLA, Second language acquisition studies等多部专著。
A Professor of SLA in the School of Language, Literatures, and Cultures in the University of Maryland. He is an expert on SLA and his main research interests include epistemological issues and theory change in SLA; age differences, maturational constraints and sensitive periods; SLA processes, e.g., stabilization/fossilization, interlanguage development; negative feedback (models and recasts) in second language acquisition; language aptitude; the advanced learner; second language research methods; learner needs analysis; task-based language teaching; and effects of instruction on SLA. He has been editors of various SLA research journals including Studies in Second Language Acquisition , Issues in Second Language Research , TESOL Quarterly and Language Teaching Research. He has published widely in the field of SLA and his most recent publications include:

文秋芳
北京外国语大学中国外语教育研究中心主任、博士生导师，中国英语教学研究会（CELEA）会长，国际应用语言学学会（AILA）执行委员。研究领域为应用语言学，研究兴趣包括二语习得、英语学习策略、口语测试、学习者语料库研究等。曾发表论文80余篇, 主要著作包括《应用语言学研究方法与论文写作》、《二语习得重点问题研究》等10余部，主持多项国家级研究项目。文教授是国内应用语言学专家，专长外语学习者学习策略研究，有丰富的语言教学经验，曾设计和组织过不同类型的外语教师培训。
金利民
北京外国语大学英语学院教授、副院长。主要研究领域为第二语言习得和外语教学，科研兴趣包括时态和体标记的理论分析与习得、学习者口笔语习得特点、英语教学理论与方法研究等。曾参与主持“北外英语专业本科人才培养模式的研究与实践“，并获北京市教学成果一等奖。主要著作包括《汉语中介语的体标记变化规律》等。目前教授的课程有应用语言学研究方法、第二语言习得、英语辩论等。
陈亚平
北京外国语大学英语语言文学博士，英语学院副教授。主要研究方向为心理语言学和二语习得。多年教授本科生精读、泛读、写作等课程，曾主编《现代大学英语阅读》（3），主持北外自选课题重大项目“英语学院08级本科生综合素质调查。目前教授的课程有心理语言学、第二语言习得、语言学导论。

研修费用： 1. 1200元/人，研究生800元/人（凭有效证件）；
